Drug Interactions: Concomitant use with diethylcarbazine may produce severe or fatal encephalopathy.
Action and use: Macrolide antiparasitic drugs. For the control of livestock nematodes, mites and other parasitic insect diseases.
Usage and dosage: subcutaneous injection: one dose, per 1kg body weight, 0.1ml for cattle and sheep; 0.15ml for pigs.
Adverse reactions: (1) When used for the treatment of psoriasis, if the killed larvae are in key parts, it will cause serious adverse reactions.
(2) During injection, there is impermeable or occasional water at the injection site.
Matters needing attention: (1) Cattle and sheep that produce milk for human consumption shall not be used during lactation.
(2) Each subcutaneous injection point should not exceed 10ml.
(3) Ivermectin is highly toxic to aquatic organisms, and the remaining drugs and packaging should not pollute the water source.

Properties: This product is colorless or almost colorless clear liquid, slightly viscous.
Pharmacological effects: Pharmacodynamics: Ivermectin has a good killing effect on internal and external parasites, mainly internal nematodes and arthropods. Its deworming mechanism is to promote the release of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) from presynaptic neurons, thereby opening GABA-mediated chloride ion channels. Ivermectin also has selectivity and high affinity for glutamate-mediated chloride channels located near GABA-mediated sites in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, thereby interfering with neuromuscular signaling and causing parasite relaxation Paralysis, causing the parasite to die or be excreted. In nematodes, inhibitory interneurons and excitatory motor neurons are the site of action, while in arthropods the site of action is the neuromuscular junction. To cattle and sheep, Haemonchus, Oster nematodes, Cooper nematodes, Trichostrongylus (including Trichostrongylus escherichia), Round nematodes, S. spp. The expelling rate of the adult and fourth stage larvae of Reticulate nematode and Charbert nematode in sheep was 97% to 100%. It is also effective against arthropods such as fly maggots, mites and lice. Less effective against chewing lice and sheepskin flies. Ivermectin is also very effective against ticks and flies that breed in feces. Although the drug does not kill ticks immediately, it can affect feeding, molting, and egg laying, thereby reducing reproductive capacity. The effect on blood flies is similar. The expelling rate of roundworms, strongylargis suis, strongyloides lansii, hairhead nematodes, esophagus nematodes, post-strongylus nematodes, coronchocernatus adult and immature worms in pigs reaches 94%~100%, Trichinella intramuscularis (ineffective for intramuscular Trichinella spiralis) is also very effective and also has good control of swine blood lice and swine scabies mites. Ineffective against flukes and tapeworms.
