Tylosin tartrate water soluble powder
This product is white to yellowish powder.
Indications: It is used for the treatment of Mycoplasma and sensitive bacterial infections, such as chronic respiratory diseases and infectious rhinitis in chickens.
Dosage and administration: calculated with Tylosin, mix with water, for poultry: 500mg/1L of water, continuously use for 3~5day.s
Adverse effect: 1) Tylosin could cause human contact dermatitis; 2) As with other Macrolides, it's irritating;3) Dose-dependent gastrointestinal dysfunction (vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal pain, etc.) often occurs after oral administration in animals, which may be caused by stimulation of smooth muscles.

Its antimicrobial spectrum is similar to that of erythromycin, and the sensitive Gram-positive bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Erysipelas porcine, listeria, Clostridium putrium, Clostridium emphysema and so on; sensitive Gram-negative bacteria are haemophilus haemophilus, meningococcal, pasteurella etc. Sensitive bacteria can develop resistance to this product, and Staphylococcus aureus shows partial cross-resistance to this product and Erythromycin.
Drug interactions: 1) It should not be used at the same time with other Macrolides, Lincomines, because of the same target of action; 2) The combination with β-lactam shows antagonistic effect.
