Main ingredients: Levamisole hydrochloride
Properties: This product is white or off-white powder.
Pharmacological effects: Antihelminthic. Levamisole is a broad-spectrum nematode drug, and its mechanism of action is to excite the autonomic ganglia of sensitive nematodes, causing excitement and numbness of the worms, and expelling the worms. At high concentrations, levamisole can also block the reduction of fumarate and the oxidation of succinate, and dry the sugar metabolism of nematodes. Levamisole has good worm activity against most gastrointestinal nematodes in cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and chickens. It has good activity on most adult gastrointestinal nematodes, but has poor effect on immature worms, and has poor or inaccurate effects on Strongyloides, Trichuris and Trichuris.
Action and use: Antihelminthic. For gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms and swine kidney worms.
Usage and Dosage: Usage and Dosage: Based on this product. Oral administration: one dose, per 1kg body weight, 75mg for cattle, sheep and pigs; 100mg for dogs and cats, 250mg for poultry
Adverse reactions: Overdose can cause symptoms of parasympathetic excitation, salivation, excitement or tremor; gastrointestinal dysfunction such as vomiting, diarrhea, dyspnea, etc.
Note: (1) Disabled during lactation.
(2) Use with caution in cattle under stress conditions such as immunization, dehorning, and cutting, and when animals are extremely weak or have obvious liver injury.
