Pharmacology:
Tiamulin is a semi-synthetic derivative of Pleuromutilin. It is highly active against gram-positive organisms, mycoplasmas and serpulina (Treponema) hyodysenteriae.
Tiamulin is used for prevention and control of mycoplasmal diseases such as enzootic pneumonia and chronic respiratory disease in pigs and poultry; swine dysentery, porcine colonic spirochaetosis and porcine proliferative enteropathy.
 

Description:
Tamyocin is one of the top ten veterinary antibiotics, its antibacterial spectrum is similar to macrolide antibiotics, mainly anti-Gram-positive bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, Chemicalbook, Mycoplasma, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, swine treponemal dysenterial and so on have strong inhibitory effect. The effect on mycoplasma was stronger than macrolides.
