Amoxicillin Injection is a suspension of fine particles. After standing, the fine particles sink and become a uniform off-white suspension after shaking. [Pharmacological action] Amoxicillin inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, so that the bacteria in the growth phase quickly become spheroids and rupture and lyse bacteria. After intramuscular injection in pigs and cattle, the bioavailability is 60% to 100%, and the peak plasma concentration of 1.5 to 4.5 µg/ml is reached 1 to 3 hours after injection. After pigs and cows were injected with this product, the blood drug concentration above MIC90 was maintained for 36 hours and 72 hours, respectively. Drug interactions Macrolides, sulfonamides and tetracycline antibiotics inhibit bacterial protein synthesis. Simultaneous use of these antibiotics can reduce the bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.
Indications: It is used for the infection of gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria caused by amoxicillin-sensitive bacteria in pigs and cattle.
