Product Description
Composition:
Each 1 ml contains:
Tylosin base 100 mg
Indications:
Pneumonia, metritis, diphtheria, wounds infections, intestinal infections, secondary bacterial infections in viral diseases, vibriosis diarrhea and infection of respiratory system in dogs, cats, cows and calves.
Side effects:
The place of the injection must be changed in the cases of repeating use because we may notice scratching accompanied with pain which recover when the treatment stops.
Medical interaction:
Tylosin solution must not be mixed with other solutions.
Usage and dosage:
For i. m. injection only.
Calves and cows: 0.75-1.25 ml /50kg body weight.
Sheep and goats: 0.5-1.5 ml /50kg body weight.
Cats and dogs: 0.05-0.25 ml /10kg body Weight.
(The treatment continues for 3-5days)
Withdrawal period: For milk: 3 days, For meat: 5 days.
Tylosin is a kind of macrolide antibiotics commonly used in animals in China, also known as Tannon and tylomycin, which can be obtained by fermentation of Streptomyces frinii of actinomycetes, and has three forms of tylosin alkali, phosphate and tartrate. Similar to erythromycin in antibacterial spectrum, gram-positive bacteria and some gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, vibrio, coccidia, spirochetes, etc. have inhibitory effect on mycoplasma, but gram-positive bacteria is not as effective as erythromycin.
