Diclazuril is a triazine broad-spectrum anticoccidial drug, which mainly inhibits the proliferation of sporozoites and schizonts. The schizonts proliferate, and the coccidia's activity peaks at the sporozoites and first-generation schizonts (ie, the first 2 days of the coccidial life cycle). It has coccidicidal effect and is effective for all stages of coccidiogenesis. It has a good effect on the tender, heap-shaped, poisonous, Brucella, giant and other Eimeria coccidia, duck and rabbit coccidia. After diclazuril is mixed with chickens, a small part is absorbed by the digestive tract, but because the dosage is small, the total absorption is very small, so there is little drug residue in the tissue. Mixed feeding at a dose of 1 mg/kg, on the 7th day after the last administration, the average residual amount in chicken tissue was measured to be less than 0.063 mg/kg. Diclazuril is less toxic and safe for livestock and poultry. Long-term use of this product is easy to induce drug resistance, so it should be used for shuttle or short-term use. The effect of this product is short, and the effect basically 5disappears after 2 days of drug withdrawal.
