99.8% Oxytetracycline Premix for Veterinary
Pharmacological action
Oxytetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, against Staphylococcus, Streptococcus hemolyticus, Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium tetani and Clostridium and other Gram-positive bacteria, as well as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Brucella and Pasteurella and other gram-negative bacteria have a strong effect, and at the same time have inhibitory effects on Rickettsia, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Spirochetes, Actinomycetes and some protozoa. Oral administration of hungry animals is easy to absorb. The blood concentration reaches its peak about 2 to 4 hours after oral administration. After absorption, it is widely distributed in the body and easily penetrates into the chest, abdominal cavity and milk. It can also enter the fetal circulation through the placental barrier, but the concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid is low.
Indications
Oxytetracycline powder is used to prevent and treat certain Gram-positive and negative bacteria, rickettsiae, mycoplasma, etc. Chicks pullorum, fowl cholera, chicken chronic respiratory disease, staphylococcal disease, calf pullorum, lamb dysentery, cattle failure, bovine pneumonia, etc., in addition, Taylor's disease, actinomycosis, leptospirosis, etc. Spirochetes also have certain curative effects, and can also be used locally for necrosis, pyometra, and endometritis caused by necrotizing bacillus. It can also be used to promote the growth and development of piglets and juveniles, and improve feed utilization.
Dosage and admistration
1. Oral treatment:
Calculated by oxytetracycline, one dose, per 1kg body weight, 0.4~0.8g for pigs, foals, calves, and lambs; 0.5~1.5g for dogs; 0.8~1.5g away, 1~2 times a day, Use it for 3 to 5 days.
2. Mixed feeding: Calculated by oxytetracycline,
(1) Growth promotion: For every 100 cattles of feed, piglets (5~15kg body weight) 25~30g , medium and large pigs (15~100kg body weight) 30~50g , 25~50g for poultry , it can be used for a long time for 10 stops (10 days for 10 days).
(2) Disease prevention: 100~175g for pigs per 100 cattles of feed , 70~125g for poultry , available 10 stop 10 (use 10 days stop for 10 days) long-term use.
